What is New in the Group?

The OMNIPOL Group has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Australian company SiNAB Technologies. The signing ceremony took place in September in Prague with the participation of OMNIPOL President Jiří Podpěra and SiNAB Technologies CEO Tony Landers.

Prague – August 20, 2025 – OMNIPOL, together with its partner Forth Corporation Public Company, proudly announces the successful handover of two L 410 NG aircraft to the Department of Royal Rainmaking and Agricultural Aviation (DRRAA) of the Kingdom of Thailand. The official ceremony took place on August 17, 2025, at the DRRAA base at Tak Airport in Tak Province.

The prestigious international LAAD Defence & Security exhibition has started in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and will last until Friday, April 4. The OMNIPOL Group is presenting itself at this exhibition, at our own stand, together with our Czech daughter companies Aircraft Industries, ERA and MESIT, as well as with our Chilean partner company Aerocardal.

OMNIPOL is a Czech based industrial Group focused on investment, development and production of hi-tech products in the field of aerospace and defense, thanks to which it maintains a strong position on the Czech domestic as well as international markets. In an interview for Czech Parlamentní listy, Jozef Piga, Chairman of the Board of OMNIPOL, talks not only about the successes of the group and the entire Czech aerospace industry, but also about the challenges facing this sector.

The OMNIPOL Group participated in IDEX, the largest trade fair of its kind, held in the city of Abu Dhabi, UAE, last week. The OMNIPOL Group team exhibited along with, its Czech daughter companies ERA, MESIT, Aircraft Industries, and partner AERO Vodochody. Together with numerous other Czech companies at the, Czech national stand displaying a wide range of Czech Defence industry capabilities.

October 22nd 2024 - The OMNIPOL Group of companies is celebrating it’s ninety-year anniversary today. It’s roots go back to 1934, when the OMNIPOL trading company, a division of Pilsen Škoda, was founded in Czechoslovakia.

Crossing the Cordillera - in South America called the Andes - was not easy. As the crew succeeded, the pilots became the first Czechoslovaks to conquer this mountain range on their way from Argentina to Chile.

June 13, 2024 – The L 410 NG, manufactured in our Czech daughter company Aircraft Industries has a new customer. One aircraft designed in the passenger version, with preparation for an ambulance version, is heading to Chile.

The 17th of April 2024. The L-29 Delfín and the L 410. These two legends of Czech aviation, have both just celebrated significant anniversaries since their first flights. The wings of the L-29 Delfín lifted off the ground,60 years ago on the 5th of April 1959.The L410 first test flight took place 50 years ago on the 16th of April 1969.

March 12, 2024 - The OMNIPOL Group of companies was a partner to the very significant conference, held in Prague, on the 12th of March. “25 years of the Czech Republic in NATO - Our Security Cannot Be Taken for Granted". The importance of this conference confirmed by the participation of former US President Bill Clinton, who was President when the Czech Republic joined NATO.

The Omnipol Industrial Group was a very proud sponsor of the Aviation Athlete of the Year 2023 event. Jiří Podpěra, President of the Omnipol Group participated at the awards ceremony, which took place on Saturday, February 24, at a theatre in the Czech town of Ústí nad Labem. At the gala evening, he spoke with the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, and also with the Czech Air Force Commander Major General Petr Cepelka.
