What is New in the Group?

December 1st, 2023 – The Industrial Group OMNIPOL welcomed a very significant visit from Ethiopia. Earlier this week, our representatives met with the Ethiopian Prime Minister Abyi Ahmed at Aero Vodochody, where we are the strategic partner, also holding a minority stake.

November 29, 2023 – Aircraft Industries, part of the OMNIPOL industrial Group, handed over two L 410 aircraft after comprehensive modernization and maintenance to our customer – the Army of the Czech Republic. As a Czech Group of companies, we are pleased that our L 410 aircraft, manufactured entirely at the Kunovice plant, is flying not only alongside European armies but also under the Czech flag.

The OMNIPOL Group is a part of Prime Minister Petr Fiala's business mission on a journey through Africa. Specifically, President Jiří Podpěra and Chairman of the Board Jozef Piga are participating in it. The first stop was Ethiopia, where our President met with local representatives over the weekend. Among them was General Lieutenant Yilma Merdassa, the commander of the Ethiopian Air Force.

The OMNIPOL Group’s participation in, NATO Days this year Ostrava Mosnov Airport, was in the role of Main Partner. The OMNIPOL Group, its daughter companies ERA, MESIT, Aircraft Industries and partner companies such as AERO Vodochody, Rohde & Schwarz and VRgineers all presented their products and capabilities at NATO Days, this year.

On Saturday, July 15, a brand new one successfully landed at the international airport in Tashkent, Uzbekistan L 410 UVP-E20 aircraft for Uzbekistan Airways, the largest national carrier in the region. It's about the first piece of two that the Uzbek side ordered from the OMNIPOL company and whose manufacturer it is a subsidiary of Aircraft Industries.

One of the largest aviation and space events in the world, the Paris Airshow, took place from June 19 to 15 at the French Le Bourget airport. OMNIPOL and its subsidiaries ERA, MESIT, Aircraft Industries as well as AERO Vodochody presented themselves here at the joint stand of 16 Czech companies. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic took over the patronage of the Czech presentation.

Prague 16.6.2023: On Thursday, the 15th of June 2023, a contract, was signed between, OMNIPOL and Uzbekistan Airways for the sale of two L 410 UVP-E20 aircraft was signed in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Tajik Chorog, is one of the three most difficult places in the world to land. It is not possible to land using instruments, due to the absence of ILS, but only by the human eye. There is also changeable weather, unfavorable terrain, mountains reaching to a height of over 6000meters, and across the river, over which the entire flight takes place, is the border with Afghanistan.

ERA announced that it had been chosen to deliver an ADS-B system covering the entire airspace of the Sultanate of Oman. ERA will supply a system consisting of several ADS-B stations as well as ADS-B data fusion and a management system by ERA.

This week, the AERO India air show is taking place at the air base in Bengaluru, where the Omnipol group is represented by representatives of OMNIPOL and Aircraft Industries. And they certainly have no shortage of visitors at the stand.

For the first time, a representative of the ground segment of aviation technology is, heading to the board of the, Association of the Aviation and Space Industry (ALKP). The leadership of, the largest industry association in the Czech Republic, will be strengthened by ERA CEO Ondřej Chlost.
