The L410’s are nothing new for Poland. They already have, four years of experience with, two of our aircraft in the MPA version. These aircraft are based in Poland as part of the Frontex Agency, which is headquartered in Warsaw. The key task for Frontex is the protection of the external borders of the EU and Schengen.
The OMNIPOL Group has recently won a competitive tender for, the supply of two more L410’s, in the MPA version. According to the contract, we will deliver the aircraft to the customer at the end of 2024, and we will install the necessary equipment for the MPA version by the end of 2025.
We have developed a new and very comprehensive solution
The two new aircraft will have, for example, the latest Garmin avionics. The latest maritime patrol version of our aircraft – is used, for example, to search for missing persons, guard borders, as well as, monitor the movement of people and all types of vessels, large and small, at sea.
The OMNIPOL Group, thanks to it’s Czech based, extensive R&D and Production teams,will both develop and produce in house at our factory in the Czech town of Kunovice.

The Polish aircraft will be equipped with, top-of-the-line equipment such as Martin Baker seats and, the most modern Wescam multifunctional camera with thermal imaging.
The L 410 family of aircraft is completely designed by our, wholly owned Czech daughter company, Aircraft Industries, and 617 Czech companies participate in it’s production.
Fun fact, to make one aircraft, requires 13,000 parts, 15,000 screws, 15,000 meters of cables and 180,000 rivets. In total, over 1,200 L 410 aircraft of various versions have been produced.
