The ceremonial handover of the aircraft was attended by top representatives of the OMNIPOL Group, including Vice-President for Sales and Commercial Artem Movsesyan and the Kazakh Minister of Emergency Situations Major General Chingis Arinov.
At the ceremony, the Minister emphasized that, the L 410 NG will significantly increase the mobility of the country's rescue services. "The aircraft will allow us to quickly move rescuers, equipment and humanitarian aid to the most remote corners of our country. It will thus be a reliable assistant in our work," he said.
The Minister thanked the OMNIPOL Group for the professionalism and efficiency with which it carried out this order. By the end of the year, the OMNIPOL Group will deliver 3 more aircraft of the same variant. Intensive negotiations are underway for the supply of further aircraft.
Delivered with interchangeable kits
The L 410 NG is a multi-purpose aircraft, and was delivered to Kazakhstan with several easily interchangeable kits. Among them are the passenger, cargo, ambulance, paratrooper versions, and a version with biohazard boxes for transporting patients with infectious diseases, which is currently produced by only three airlines in the world.
The multi-purpose nature of the aircraft, it’s reliability, plus it’s ability to operate in extreme climatic conditions from -50 to +50 degrees Celsius make it ideal for the needs of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations. In addition, it can take off and land on unpaved runways of only 500 meters in length.
The L 410 is also nothing new for Kazakhstan, the OMNIPOL Group has, already delivered two L 410 UVP-E20 aircraft to the Kazakh Ministry of Defense. However now, for the first time, the latest generation of the aircraft is also heading to Kazakhstan, offering the customer improved flight parameters and operational characteristics, more modern technologies including Garmin 3000 avionics.
The L410 NG like all of it’s earlier generations is, completely designed, developed and constructed in our Czech subsidiary Aircraft Industries. 617 Czech companies are involved in it’s production.
